The Midweek Treat to Rule Them All

This is why my Substack will always feature sunsets.

I am lucky enough to live in a place that witnesses some of the most beautiful views and sunsets fathomable. And once in a while, you get a sunset that is beyond fathom. Cinematic, magical, breathtaking, spectacular, majestic, idyllic, sublime—pick any adjective you like. Yesterday’s sunset was one of those.

I’m still picking myself up after a mentally rough period, and getting words out for my next essay has turned my brain into a wrung sponge. In the meantime, I wanted to give thanks with all of you to the one thing that hasn’t yet failed to inspire and reinvigorate me during a creative rut.

After all, “What is Art, monsieur, but Nature concentrated?” (thank you, Honore de Balzac.)
